What are the top three things in SP 9? Is thin client in SP 9 or separate? Also does the thin client run side by side with the client version or does it?
ReplyDeleteLearning a lot, excellent so far! Looks like we'll be working with Crystal for a while though, as Julia mentioned...doesn't sound like Pivotal can do much about it (hold up is on Microsoft's end). Scott Monroe went through a lot this morning about the future of the application, as Jul mentioned, but really wish I had a tape recorder, it was a lot for me to absorb in that timeframe as a Marketing person. I could tell many in the room were frustrated that it wasn't a longer session. He promised that there would be another session added for more user questions...hopefully that will happen. If not I think we should have Scott go through it all with us at some point so our whole team can hear it! Also someone asked if user questions and answers could be captured and emailed...Scott said yes...hopefully that will be the case!
ReplyDeleteJulia should answer your question Bob... Also wanted to add that they are going to show a proof of concept of the IPAD app at the conference. We'll check it out!
ReplyDeleteAttended a session held by the Farmer Credit Services that at first thought was a waste because they haven't upgraded to 6 yet, however they gave some good pointers. Will document tomorrow...heading out to dinner soon. K
